The spiritual home of baseball's Boston Red Sox, Fenway Park is one of the city's main tourist stop off points. The stadium dates back to 1912 and though it no longer hosts Red Sox games, it is a delight to visit for anyone remotely interested in baseball.

Without a doubt the most famous son of the Sox is 'Babe'. Herman 'Babe' Ruth had many a great year here and will be forever etched in the memory of Bostonians.

The other great team of Boston is the Celtics. This NBA team beats any other team when it comes to championship titles. The Celtics hold 16 titles, eight of which were won on consecutive years during the late 1950s and early '60s, with their most recent win being in 1986. Some of the sports greatest showmen have at one time worn the Celtics green and white kit.
